I’m talking about tough, honest lawmen, like Sergeant Preston of the Yukon. That old radio show, a staple for American kids, taught us about hard work, loyalty, and courage on the wild frontier. It celebrated rugged men patrolling vast, frozen territory—an area so enormous, it dwarfs entire states like Ohio. That kind of boldness is lost on today’s progressive activists, too busy crying about microaggressions from their Ivy League dorms.
Back then, millions of American children sat around the living room, listening intently. They learned right from wrong, good from evil—all thanks to stories about real law and order. Now, what do boys hear? Drag queen storytellers and lectures about their “privilege.” The radical left will do anything to erase masculinity from our culture, making virtue look weak and chaos look cool. Why? Because strong, principled people are impossible to control.
Sergeant Preston wasn’t just a character. He symbolized everything liberals hate: self-reliance and patriotism. When he roamed the wild Yukon—an 11-times larger-than-Ohio expanse—he chased down criminals and kept the peace. There were no DEI committees or wimpy “safe spaces” keeping bad guys at bay. Just grit. That’s how you build a civilization. But liberal lawmakers want more bureaucracy, less backbone. They’d love to swap out Mounties for micro-managers, wrapped in red tape, making excuses while crime runs wild.
We’re told by globalist elites that borders don’t matter, that law enforcement is “problematic.” Funny, back in Preston’s world, men honored the rules because families depended on them. They worked jobs that built something—whether it was policing the Canadian north or piloting airliners through stormy skies. These were salt-of-the-earth workers who wanted opportunity and order, not government handouts or climate cult scolding.
Ask yourself: Why do they want to erase these stories from our culture? Why does the left despise the values that actually built the West? Maybe because they know that as long as Americans remember the old heroes, we won’t fall for their utopian nonsense. We need more Sergeant Prestons, and a lot fewer woke ideologues telling us how to live.
