Once again, America sees firsthand the dangers faced by President Trump—and the unhinged leftists roaming free thanks to weak Democrat leadership. Instead of a night of harmless jokes at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, the country witnessed chaos break out in Washington. The left-wing media clinks cocktails and mocks the president for sport, but last night’s attack was no laughing matter. As shots rang out in the very hotel ballroom where press and administration gathered, the Secret Service scrambled to shield the Commander-in-Chief from yet another attempt on his life.
The facts are infuriating, but not surprising. Law enforcement revealed the man behind the attack is a registered Democrat, a self-proclaimed Kamala Harris fan, and—brace yourselves—a part-time teacher. This is the rot festering inside our institutions: teachers radicalized, left unchecked, and turning violent. Of course, the mainstream media will never admit it. If the parties were reversed, there would already be a “reckoning” and non-stop coverage about “right-wing violence.” But now, the press is oddly silent. Where are the calls for accountability from Democrat leaders?
President Trump, as always, stood strong. Even under fire, he tried to keep the dinner going and speak to the American people. He knew what needed to be done. Trump didn’t cower—he praised the law enforcement heroes who ran towards danger. One Secret Service officer was shot at close range and walked away, saved only by his bulletproof vest. This is the kind of courage that keeps America safe, not the virtue-signaling tweets or thinly veiled scorn of D.C. elites.
And what do D.C. officials do? They talk about filing charges and calling for the public’s help. It’s nice to see them acting like law and order matters—if only they applied the same urgency to stopping crime in their own city. But here’s the uncomfortable truth: It took Trump himself pointing out that these venues are not secure. The establishment loves their schmoozy gatherings, but won’t lift a finger to make them safe. Instead, they’ll probably blame gun owners and “white Christian nationalism” while ignoring their own side’s extremists.
The left wants to pretend that political violence is some right-wing phenomenon. Yet time after time, it’s the radical left who turn violent—their rage fueled by a media that demonizes conservatives and elevates “resistance” at every turn. How many more times must President Trump survive assassination attempts before they admit reality? America deserves real leadership and real security, not more excuses from the woke mob and their friends in the press. When will Democrats finally take responsibility for the monsters their rhetoric creates?
