The radical activists say they’ve lined up enough signatures to shove this disaster onto the ballot, and the usual leftist puppets are cheering them on.
But here’s the twist: even Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom and his Silicon Valley buddies are finally tapping the brakes. They realize what conservatives have been screaming for years—socialist tax hikes destroy jobs, drive away innovation, and poison California’s economic engine. Newsom doesn’t care about freedom or capitalism, but he knows his tech donors aren’t sticking around for liberal nonsense if their wealth gets picked clean. Greed and hypocrisy rule over there, not principles.
While the far-left mobs foam at the mouth about “taxing the rich,” they ignore the obvious truth. California is already hemorrhaging residents by the thousands. Middle-class families are running for the exits thanks to sky-high taxes, failed schools, and a crime wave that never ends. It’s laughable that the answer from Marxist elites is to double down with new schemes to punish success and reward government dependence.
If these activists cared about California’s real problems, they’d fix the failing schools, open the energy markets, and protect the streets from criminals. But that would mean taking responsibility for the mess their own policies made. Instead, they hunt for new villains, blame the “evil rich,” and promise utopia if only they can dig a little deeper into the pockets of those who create jobs and opportunity.
The truth is simple—punishing the wealthy doesn’t help the poor. It just proves liberals never learned basic math or common sense. The Golden State will lose even more talent, more businesses, and more hope if this war on prosperity continues. But maybe that’s the plan all along: destroy America’s best, then pretend to save us from the ashes. Will anyone have the guts to stop them before California becomes a warning for the rest of the nation?
