Democrats never miss a chance to play pretend, and Hakeem Jeffries just gave the performance of the year. After chaos broke out at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner – you know, the event where the media and their favorite politicians cozy up and pat each other on the back – suddenly “civility” is their new favorite word. Jeffries wasted no time preaching about unity and togetherness. But here’s the real joke: these same Democrats have spent a decade demonizing Donald Trump and anyone who dared to support him.
Everyone knows the Left doesn’t care about unity when it comes to half the country. When conservatives demand border security, respect for law enforcement, or integrity in our elections, the Left calls it “dangerous rhetoric.” But when one of their own events takes a dark turn, now suddenly we’re all supposed to hold hands and sing “Kumbaya”? Give us a break. Americans have watched as Democrats tore our country apart with false accusations, divisive identity politics, and a nonstop media witch hunt against Trump.
Hakeem Jeffries isn’t fooling anyone. He stands at the microphone, acting shocked at incivility in America. Where was his outrage when leftist mobs set cities on fire, tore down statues, and chased conservatives out of restaurants? Where were his calls for unity when families were being ripped apart by radical policies and endless impeachments? The double standard reeks to high heaven.
It’s also worth pointing out the pure arrogance in Jeffries’ speech. He talks as if only Democrats know how to fix America, ignoring their own mess. Under their watch, crime is skyrocketing, the border is wide open, and our freedoms are under attack. But when things get uncomfortable at one of their elite galas, suddenly we’re all supposed to listen to their lectures about “coming together”? It’s laughable.
The hypocrisy is overwhelming. This is what globalist Democrats do best: demand “unity” only when it benefits their agenda, while smearing and silencing anyone who refuses to kneel at their altar. America sees through this charade. Maybe the real question is: will the Left ever practice the “civility” they claim to preach, or will they just keep playing the same tired old game?
