California Democrats Just Proved Again They Can’t Be Trusted With Power
Once again, California Democrats are in hot water—and this time, the stench of corruption wafts straight from the top. Xavier Becerra, Biden’s hand-picked Health Secretary and now a leading candidate for governor, is up to his neck in a campaign fund theft scandal. While his “trusted” associates face prison for looting his own campaign account, Becerra expects voters to believe he knew nothing. When does the buck ever stop with these people?
Only in the modern Democrat Party does a quarter of a million dollars vanish under a candidate’s nose, and the leader claims complete ignorance. Becerra shrugs it off, blaming ethics rules and saying he had to “distance” himself. Apparently, those rules didn’t keep his inner circle from treating campaign money like their personal piggy bank. Is this kind of hands-off “leadership” really what Californians need at a time when the state is falling apart?
Let’s not pretend this is just an isolated mistake. These scandals are the logical outcome of the left’s reckless, entitled mindset. Democrats talk nonstop about “accountability,” yet when their own cronies get caught, they play victim and dodge responsibility. If Becerra knew what was happening, he’s unfit to lead. If he didn’t, he’s just another empty suit who fails to notice corruption under his nose. Either way, he has no business running California.
And while everyday families are feeling the pain from out-of-control spending, crime, and open borders, Democrats like Becerra are too busy protecting their own political interests. This is the same guy who still embraces COVID mandates and who, just last week, vowed to shield foreign truckers who can’t even speak English. Who does he work for—American citizens or some globalist agenda?
Voters have to ask: if Becerra can’t keep his own campaign from being robbed blind by people he handpicked, how can he be trusted with the fate of the entire state? The Republican Party is leading this race for a reason. Californians deserve real leadership, not another excuse-making Democrat who watches as insiders steal from the people and shrugs it off. At this point, would you trust Xavier Becerra with your own wallet—let alone your government?
