Once again, Roy is leading the charge, demanding the federal government cut off the money pipeline to the Council on American-Islamic Relations—or as it’s better known, CAIR. This time, he’s calling out the California chapter specifically, and it’s about time someone finally did.
CAIR has pretended for years to care about “justice” and “civil rights,” but too many of their actions show something totally different. Americans should be asking why tax dollars ever end up in the hands of groups like this, especially as concerns grow about what they’re peddling behind closed doors. But of course, you won’t hear a peep about these problems from the mainstream media or career Democrats in Washington. To them, it doesn’t matter if our money is funding organizations with questionable motives—as long as it fits their woke agenda.
Liberals love to crow about their “tolerance,” but they never seem to care when it’s our security and values on the line. They’ll trip over themselves to fund groups that attack America’s principles, ignore our laws, and push divisive rhetoric. Meanwhile, working families get told to shut up and keep paying the bill. If you dare to ask questions, you’re labeled “intolerant.” What a joke.
Let’s be honest—globalist interests and far-left activists want to tear down everything that makes this country strong. Groups like CAIR are part of their toolbox. Instead of supporting real Americans, federal cash goes straight to organizations that don’t even try to hide their anti-American bias. Why is it so hard for our leaders to cut off funding to groups that sow division and attack the country from within? Maybe because some politicians are more loyal to their radical base than to the citizens who put them in office.
Chip Roy understands that America is under attack—not just from threats abroad, but from dangerous ideologies right here at home. If only the rest of Congress had half his backbone. The big question now: will Washington finally stop using our money to fuel anti-American agendas, or will they just keep paying the enemy to spit in our faces?
