Democrat Congresswoman busted flip-flopping on White House shooting leaves voters in disbelief

It’s always the same story with Democrats—when real danger strikes, they can’t even keep their message straight for a single day. Just look at Democratic Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett from Texas. One minute, after a shocking shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, she’s making the safe, predictable statement you’d expect: violence is bad, she says, and thankfully nobody got hurt. Nobody’s going to argue with that.

But wait. Fast forward a couple hours, and Crockett does a complete 180 online. This time, she’s floating wild theories and hinting the whole ordeal might have been “fake.” She points the finger at gun laws, blames mental health funding, and tosses off conspiracies about whether there’s even any real danger at all. Does she really believe what she says, or is she just fishing for retweets and attention?

Make no mistake: this is how Democrats operate. When tragedy strikes, they’re quick to play the victim—or the hero—whichever gets more likes on social media. The hypocrisy is classic. Just last year, when then-President Trump survived a clear attempt on his own life, the left was falling over themselves with explanations and excuses. Now, instead of standing up with a united voice against political violence, Democrats seem more interested in spinning confusion, projecting blame, or even flirting with the idea that it’s all a show.

Worse yet, the left never misses a chance to use tragedy to push their favorite pet fix: gun control. Never mind that in these cases, the attackers follow the law well enough to get their weapons. No, what matters for Democrats is not safety or justice—it’s about controlling you, your rights, your speech, your choices. If an incident doesn’t fit their narrative or help their globalist agenda, they’re happy to muddy the waters and sow even more doubt. Anything to avoid talking straight to the American people.

Crockett’s fast flip-flop is just the latest symptom of a desperate party losing touch with reality—and with voters who are sick of elitist games. If this is the kind of leadership America gets from Democrats, is it any wonder the country chooses to reject them and their failed ideas?
