It’s always the same story with the Democrats. Something terrible happens, and right on cue, they come out blaming “the rhetoric.” This week, Senator Jacky Rosen stepped in front of the cameras, wringing her hands over the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Instead of focusing on crime, law enforcement, or the failure to protect Americans, she took aim at the words people use. That’s right—words, not actions.
Rosen’s message is clear: leaders should stop talking about things like “destroying civilizations,” because apparently, tough talk leads to violence. The left loves this empty logic. They don’t want to face up to the hard truths about rising crime, open borders, or foreign threats. It’s easier for them to blame the people who speak boldly about defending Western values. In their world, if you say something strong, you’re more dangerous than the actual criminals pulling the trigger.
Let’s be real. This isn’t about “civility” or “unity.” It’s about silencing anyone who isn’t bowing to the far-left narrative. The radical Democrats don’t want debate. They want obedience. Anyone who dares to stand up for American principles, call out the globalists, or warn about the collapse of our culture is instantly labeled the villain. Somehow, words from conservatives are more offensive to the left than actual violence in the streets.
While Americans are worried about inflation, unsafe cities, and a world spiraling out of control, Democrats like Rosen would rather police language than protect lives. Their priorities are upside down. If a Republican says anything that makes liberal elites uncomfortable, he’s a “threat.” But when chaos erupts under their watch, the blame falls on somebody’s Twitter post, not their failed policies.
This is the classic liberal game: divert blame, dodge responsibility, and demonize anyone who pushes back. They’d rather everyone quietly accept the decline of our nation than risk someone telling the raw truth. Is it any wonder America is slipping further from the values that made it the beacon of the free world? It’s long past time to call out this nonsense for what it is—a lame excuse to cover up liberal incompetence.
