It’s turning out that America’s so-called “top experts” on COVID weren’t just wrong — they may have been downright sneaky. The Justice Department just dropped a bomb: David Morens, once the right-hand man to Dr. Fauci at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has been indicted on serious federal charges. His alleged crime? Hiding vital government records about the pandemic and coronavirus research, and doing it while America was desperate for the truth.
Here’s what stinks: Morens supposedly used his personal Gmail and not his government email, trying to keep secrets about where COVID-19 really came from, away from your eyes. Why the cover-up? Why all the cloak-and-dagger drama? Maybe because the research in question was tied straight to the Wuhan Institute of Virology — yes, the infamous Chinese lab at the heart of the viral storm. Morens, along with others, is accused of bending over backward to rescue funding for shady research, all while the rest of us were told, again and again, that a lab leak was just a “conspiracy theory.”
Even worse, these actions were not made alone. Morens allegedly teamed up with others and even accepted fancy meals and nice bottles of wine as thanks for pushing the “natural origin” story. All this as the American people struggled behind locked doors, masked up, and buried loved ones. Those at the top, meanwhile, were cooking up ways to sidestep the law and keep key information hidden from you and me. It’s the Deep State, working overtime.
And don’t forget who set the stage for this charade. The Biden White House bent over backwards trying to shut down any talk about a lab leak. Officials leaned hard on social media giants to censor anyone daring to question China’s involvement. They made sure the President only heard what the globalist elite wanted him to hear, leaving out evidence pointing straight at the Wuhan lab. This was more than just “science.” This was propaganda — pure and simple — and Americans paid the price.
So now, as Morens faces decades behind bars if convicted, the real question is — who else is going down with him? How many in the Biden bureaucracy will be exposed for their role in this national embarrassment? For too long, Democrats and their globalist pals have played games with American lives, always claiming they know better. Well, the mask is coming off, and it’s not a good look for the so-called “party of science.” If they lied about this, what else are they hiding?
