America’s gas pumps don’t lie. When chaos hits the world, especially in oil-rich regions, gasoline prices shoot up like a missile. The moment there’s trouble—whether it’s foreign wars, political games, or the latest “Operation” overseas—drivers feel the pain instantly. Funny how that works. Gas prices skyrocket overnight. But when the crisis calms down and oil barrels start dropping in price? That relief comes slower than a Monday morning in Washington, D.C. Prices trickle down as if stuck in molasses.
This “rockets and feathers” effect isn’t a mystery to anyone who’s been filling up their tanks for decades. It’s a rigged game. The moment there’s an excuse, gas stations pounce—passing every penny of “uncertainty” straight to the working man. Yet when the oil markets cool off, and barrel prices tumble? Magically, gas stations can’t seem to lower those prices with the same speed. Isn’t it convenient for them—and for the government’s endless thirst for more tax dollars?
What really burns is that the left just shrugs. Liberals love to talk about “green energy,” as if windmills and solar panels will instantly fill your tank. Their policies make energy costlier, not cheaper. Democrats seem content watching hardworking families bleed at the pump, lecturing about climate change from behind the wheel of their taxpayer-funded SUVs. Meanwhile, globalists laugh all the way to the bank, happily selling American energy security down the river.
Let’s not forget, these lopsided price swings are no accident. It’s the natural result of decades of anti-American energy policy. Environmental “activists,” backed by big tech and rich elites, sabotage drilling permits, pipeline projects, and refinery upgrades. Their meddling makes markets jumpy, and the average citizen pays for it with every gallon. The so-called experts will tell us it’s just “how markets work.” But who set up these markets? Who keeps making it worse?
Americans deserve gas prices as reliable as the cars they depend on. It’s time to hold politicians and bureaucrats accountable. If oil prices drop like a stone, gas prices should drop too—fast, and without excuses. Why should working families keep getting ripped off by a system built to reward globalist elites and punish Main Street USA? When will Washington stop playing games with America’s energy? Enough is enough.
