Senator admits Democrats leaving America exposed by starving border security

Senator Richard Blumenthal has once again shown just how out of touch the Democrat party is with the needs of this country. On national television, he bragged about how the Department of Homeland Security won’t get long-term funding. That’s right—the agency meant to keep Americans safe is being treated like a political pawn while our borders are blown wide open. Only a liberal could spin starving the DHS of resources as wise decision-making.

While chaos runs wild at our southern border, Democrats like Blumenthal are busy kneecapping the very people trying to protect us. What’s their plan? Apparently, it’s to wave their own virtue flags while drug cartels, human traffickers, and terrorists gleefully march in. They claim the DHS supposedly has “enough” for now. But how can anyone seriously believe that DHS can keep protecting Americans while D.C. threatens to pull the rug out from under it?

This kind of reckless game with our security reveals the ugly truth: protecting Americans comes last for the left. Keeping our families safe doesn’t win them globalist points. It doesn’t feed their radical agenda. These politicians would rather tie DHS’s hands than actually fix the border disaster their open-door policies created in the first place. For Democrat elites, it’s all a game that never affects them or their gated communities.

The hypocrisy is mind-blowing. The same crowd bragging about “compassion” is stripping away funds from the agency that shields us from real threats. They’d rather see dollars go to pet projects than make sure our border agents have the tools they need. It’s clear now more than ever—Democrats are willing to risk American lives if it scores them cheap political wins.

How many more warnings do we need? Liberals in Washington are actively broadcasting to our enemies that America’s defenses are up for debate. The only people celebrating this disaster are criminals and the far-left base. When will our leaders remember their real job is to protect Americans—not their own political futures?
