It’s happening again. The price of gas is shooting up, and who’s paying for it? Everyday Americans. While Washington politicians twiddle their thumbs over another round of so-called negotiations with Iran, the only real winner is chaos—and the only loser is the American people.
The story is all-too-familiar. Iran is flexing its muscles in the Middle East, squeezing the world by tightening control on the Strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile, wishy-washy talks drag on, riddled with demands from Iran for an end to U.S. blockades and even more pointless concessions. The result? More instability, higher energy costs, and another round of handouts to radical regimes that hate us. The Biden administration’s weakness has made us prisoners at the pump.
The liberal elites in power keep promising that “diplomacy” and “global cooperation” will fix this mess. But gas stations don’t run on empty promises. While the left obsesses over climate change pipe dreams and foreign deals that never pan out, America’s energy independence keeps slipping further away. The Green New Deal crowd doesn’t care if you can’t afford to drive to work—or put food on the table—so long as their overpriced electric cars look good in Hollywood driveways.
Here’s the truth they don’t want you to hear: None of this would be happening if America unleashed its own energy resources. We have the oil, the gas, the know-how, and the workers ready to get the job done. But the so-called experts in D.C. would rather beg OPEC for scraps than let American workers power the nation. It’s madness.
Why should American families be at the mercy of globalist negotiations and rogue regimes in Iran? Why are our leaders so quick to blame everyone but themselves for these crises? Every time you fill up your tank, remember: The real reason gas prices soar isn’t fate—it’s failed leadership. Are we finally ready to put America first, or are we content to bow to the whims of our enemies?
