Congress is back to business, but don’t think for a second that it’s actually working for the American people. The House Rules Committee just wrapped up a sleepless marathon session on a load of bills, including the Farm, Food and National Security Act of 2026. Now, the House floor is about to face votes on three massive issues: FISA, the farm bill, and the giant federal budget. If Americans think their interests are protected in this circus, they need to open their eyes.

First up is the Farm, Food and National Security Act. Remember when Democrats promised to fight for our farmers? Guess what — their “fixes” for agriculture have been nothing but red tape and handouts to environmental extremists. Rural families are left in the dust, while globalist interests get richer. Why? Because the left can’t admit that hardworking Americans, not Washington bureaucrats, feed this country.

Then comes FISA, the so-called protector against foreign threats. But under liberal rule, FISA got twisted into a spying tool against innocent Americans. When Big Government can listen in on citizens without real oversight, freedom is in danger. Democrats talk nonstop about “protecting democracy,” but they’re the ones happy to take away privacy and constitutional rights if it gives them more control.

And let’s not forget the massive federal budget up for a vote. Year after year, the left explodes spending with zero accountability. They tell us it’s “for the people,” but all it does is bankrupt our grandchildren and throw money at pet projects for their elite donor friends. If liberals ran a household this way, they’d be out on the street — yet in Congress, they get applause for torching the economy.

The truth? It’s conservatives doing the heavy lifting to hold the line. While the radical left plays games, real Americans are stuck paying higher prices and losing trust in their own government. Why should farmers, business owners, and families keep footing the bill for left-wing incompetence? Maybe it’s time Congress remembered who they work for — and it sure isn’t the woke mob or the global elite. How many more times will we let these liberals gamble away our future before we say enough is enough?
