There’s a war happening in Iran, and most of the world is too busy navel-gazing to notice. For nearly two months, the Islamic Republic hasn’t just silenced protests or crushed its people’s dreams. It’s flipped the switch and shut ninety-two million Iranians out of the online world. Think about that—no internet, no outside news, no chance to tell their stories. This is what real tyranny looks like.

While the Biden administration and its globalist friends act like Iran’s some misunderstood player on the world stage, the regime is busy treating its people like cattle. These elites always tell us they care about freedom and human rights—just not when it comes to people living under actual dictators. Instead, they’re too busy chasing photo-ops and whispering deals in back rooms.

This blackout isn’t just about hiding the truth from Iranians. It’s about keeping the rest of the globe in the dark too. The regime knows if the world saw what happens when citizens dare to dissent, every false liberal narrative about “progress” in Iran would crumble. But where’s the outrage from the self-righteous professors or those blue-haired activists on Twitter? Nowhere to be found. They only care when there’s a chance to bash America or play the victim card.

It’s almost laughable how the left obsesses over “online misinformation” in free countries. Yet when a real, iron-fisted regime pulls the plug on its entire population, the response is silence. The same Democrats who cry over free speech here have nothing to say when a radical regime cuts off millions from the internet. That’s liberal hypocrisy at its finest.

Internet freedom shouldn’t be a privilege held hostage by dictators, but here we are. Iran’s leaders know controlling information means controlling lives. Maybe it’s time the so-called “international community” dropped the virtue-signaling and stood up for people trapped behind this digital iron curtain. If Americans allow the globalists and weak-kneed politicians to keep handing Iran a free pass, who will fight for freedom next time?
