It’s never been more obvious just how fake the left’s outrage truly is. When President Trump dared to call out Minnesota’s Governor Tim Walz for his disastrous handling of the Somali fraud scandal, the left practically lit their hair on fire. Walz whined about being the target of mean names, claiming “dangerous words” put his safety at risk and could even spark violence. Democrats tripped over themselves to present this as the darkest crime of the decade—how dare anyone use such toxic language?
Fast forward a few months, and suddenly those same “dangerous” words are just fine, as long as it’s a Democrat using them. Look at Graham Platner, now the Democratic Senate nominee in Maine. He used the very word Walz claimed was violent and shameful—not once, but several times—both in old Reddit posts and recently during a public interview. Disability rights advocates immediately called it what it was: a slur. But did Walz condemn Platner? Did a single Democrat say a peep about how disgraceful and dangerous this behavior is? Not a chance.
The hypocrisy here is breathtaking. For Democrats, rules are always “different” when it’s one of their own. If a conservative slips up, they demand a resignation. When it’s a left-winger like Platner, they look the other way—even when the guy already has a Nazi-linked tattoo and is catching flak for disgusting comments on sexual violence. The left isn’t interested in decency. They’re interested in power, plain and simple. Their outrage is only real when it serves their agenda.
Democrats spent years screaming that Trump and anyone who supports him are dangerous, fascist monsters. Never mind the actual leftist violence encouraged by their own hateful rhetoric. Now, they just ignore their so-called values to protect their rising star, who’s said and done far worse than any so-called MAGA “insult.” It’s nothing but projection, and America sees straight through it.
If Democrats truly cared about words leading to violence, they’d call out their own candidate—loudly and publicly. They won’t do it because they never meant any of it. The only thing about these people that runs deeper than their double standards is their contempt for anyone who gets in the way of their quest for control. Do they really think voters haven’t noticed this raging hypocrisy?
