Michigan Democrats have finally dropped the mask. This time, it’s Senate hopeful Abdul El-Sayed leading the charge, taking his cues from the radical left and calling for the total abolition of ICE. That’s right—the same ICE that protects our borders, stops violent criminals, and shields the American public from an unchecked flood of illegal immigration. Instead of supporting our brave men and women risking their lives, El-Sayed goes so far as to smear them as nothing more than a “paramilitary force of thugs.”
This is the same tired, anti-law enforcement rhetoric we saw pumped out by the likes of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez a few years back. Democrats tried to walk away from the abolish ICE craze when they realized American families hated it and President Trump was winning the border battle. But now with open borders all over the headlines, Michigan’s left-wing elites are bringing this nonsense right back, doubling down on dangerous policies that put Americans last.
Let’s be clear. Abolishing ICE isn’t just soft on crime—it’s an open invitation for drug cartels, human traffickers, and every other bad actor who wants to take advantage of Joe Biden’s disastrous border. Only someone as out of touch as El-Sayed could take a look at the chaos at the southern border and decide the answer is to make law enforcement weaker, not stronger.
Democrats love to talk about “protecting democracy.” But what kind of democracy survives when its borders are erased and its laws are ignored? These globalist liberals love pointing fingers at hardworking ICE agents, all while looking the other way as illegal immigrants pour in, strain our schools, our hospitals, and our police. Everyday Americans pay the price for this woke insanity—a price Michigan families aren’t willing to pay.
This move isn’t just foolish—it’s a slap in the face to every American who believes in law and order. If El-Sayed and his radical buddies have their way, we might as well hang a sign on the border saying “Come on in, we won’t stop you!” Is there anyone left in the Democratic Party who still believes in American sovereignty, or is it just a race to see who can be the most extreme?
