There’s something almost tragic about watching the left try to be funny. Their latest project is a perfect example: The self-appointed kings of online “satire” have snapped up InfoWars, and, surprise, they paraded out a sad Alex Jones impersonation by a has-been comedian who apparently thinks jokes are optional. It’s bad enough that it’s not funny—they don’t even seem to be trying anymore.
Liberals can’t help themselves. Give them an inch and they’ll turn the whole thing into a snarky, self-congratulatory humiliation party, not just for Alex Jones, but for anyone who dares to think differently. Remember when the left at least pretended to tolerate opposing views? Not anymore. Now, they buy up what they hate just so they can beat it like a rented mule in front of their own audience—and then call it “comedy.” They can’t even bother with actual jokes. Even their Alex Jones act, which could have written itself, comes out strained and embarrassingly flat.
The problem is simple: You can’t mock someone you flat-out despise and expect to produce comedy. Real satire has wit and insight. But that takes backbone, and we’re talking about the same left-wing crowd who think virtue signaling is the height of entertainment. Are they laughing? Hard to tell from the zombie-like “likes” on social media, but there’s no way anyone’s actually cracking a smile. The entire production reeks of forced amusement—people faking laughs because they’re supposed to, not because anything remotely clever was happening.
Of course, none of this is about comedy. Let’s get real—this was about control. The left takes over InfoWars, not to make jokes, but to show the world they’re in charge now. It’s the oldest trick in the globalist playbook: Beat your enemies, steal their toys, and then pretend you’re playing for laughs. But really, it’s just more of their obsession with silencing and humiliating those they fear. Naturally, the media lapdogs are already drooling over the chance to throw their predictable punches at conservatives, as if the world hasn’t heard enough lazy jokes about Alex Jones.
At the end of the day, this whole thing is just another sad episode for the so-called comedy elite and their followers. Nothing to see here except more liberal incompetence and yet another attempt to prove how “woke” and relevant they are. But who’s actually laughing? Not conservatives. Maybe not even the liberals themselves. Perhaps the real joke is on them—but don’t worry, they won’t get it.
