UC exposed the shocking double standard silencing conservatives while far left voices get a free pass

At the University of California, it’s clear who really gets to speak their mind. The school loves to brag about free speech. But take a close look, and you’ll see that right-leaning students get shut down fast, while anything from the far left gets applause. This isn’t just how things are—it’s by design.

Jay Sures, a regent at UC, finally called out the hypocrisy. He asked, point blank, whether free speech rules actually apply to everyone. The truth is obvious. If you’re carrying a sign about climate change, socialism, or “Palestine liberation,” campus officials roll out the red carpet. But dare to wear a MAGA hat, mention border security, or defend Israel, and you’re an instant target for hate. The so-called adults in charge just shrug, or worse, pile on.

This double standard isn’t an accident. It’s part of the radical left’s playbook—shame and silence anyone who dares think differently. College campuses have become safe spaces for groupthink, not real debate. Tax dollars are funding these biased universities, yet conservative voices are treated as threats instead of students.

Meanwhile, administrators put on a pathetic show of neutrality. They claim everyone is free to speak. But when mobs harass or attack those with unpopular ideas, the school hides behind vague policies or makes empty statements. If the loudest protestors line up with liberal causes, leaders suddenly “can’t” enforce any rules. Imagine the outrage if conservative students tried the same stunts.

Enough is enough. If UC doesn’t protect free speech for all, it’s time to end their taxpayer gravy train. Let’s stop pretending colleges are neutral and call out their anti-American bias for what it is—an attack on the core values that make this country great. Why should conservatives keep paying for their own silencing? Maybe it’s time to flip the script and give them a dose of their own medicine.
