That’s right—while Americans are desperate for lower airfares and real competition, Buttigieg and his cronies are patting themselves on the back for keeping the system just as broken as ever.
What’s the logic here? Apparently, progressives like Buttigieg love to talk about “fighting for the little guy,” but when two struggling airlines try to join forces to take on the big corporate carriers, the government steps in to crush them. The Biden administration claims to support working people, but they don’t mind making travel more expensive and limiting airline choices. At the end of the day, it’s the taxpayer and the consumer who eat the cost.
Remember, these so-called “public servants” always act like they know best. They tell us their big-government interventions protect consumers, yet we’re stuck with the same handful of airlines running the show—and don’t think those companies didn’t benefit from Buttigieg’s meddling. Under Democrat rule, it’s the insiders who win, and the average American who loses. That’s not “fairness.” That’s government picking winners and losers.
