Trump Pulls Troops From Europe and Liberals Are Furious at America First

America First—Not Germany First

Donald Trump is doing exactly what he promised: putting America first. The Pentagon revealed plans to pull 5,000 U.S. troops out of Germany, but Trump isn’t stopping there. He says a lot more American soldiers will soon be coming home from Europe. This is the kind of bold leadership we need. Why should American men and women risk their lives—year after year—defending wealthy European countries that refuse to pull their own weight?

For too long, liberal presidents have handed out American security like candy, while Germany and other NATO countries sit back, rake in the benefits, and barely pay their promised share. The left never cared about U.S. soldiers stuck halfway across the world, lining the pockets of globalist elites while our borders stay open and our own neighborhoods decay. Trump is finally standing up to the European freeloaders and bringing our troops back where they belong—here, on American soil.

Let’s be real. Germany is one of the richest countries in Europe. But when it comes time to pay the bills or support the alliance, they hide behind America. And liberals in both America and Europe cheer them on! The radical left would rather waste billions keeping bases overseas than fix a single pothole in Detroit or secure our broken border. Their priorities are upside-down and anti-American.

The so-called “experts” will whine that Trump is damaging alliances or upsetting world order. What they really mean is their cozy globalist system—where American citizens pay the price and foreign bureaucrats get rich—is finally breaking down. Trump understands what average Americans have said for years: Take care of our soldiers, our families, and our own problems before worrying about everyone else’s backyard.

Maybe it’s time European leaders learn a hard lesson: If you want American help, you need to stop freeloading and start pitching in. Let’s keep bringing our troops home, rebuild America, and make our allies stand on their own two feet for once. Isn’t it about time we stopped letting globalists call the shots?
