The left loves to talk about hate—until it’s profitable for them. That was put on full display at the White House correspondents’ dinner, a grotesque gathering of elites who claim to stand against hate, yet can’t stop feeding it. The same “journalists” who fuel division, outrage, and even violence had no problem sipping champagne with the very people they like to compare to monsters. Hypocrisy doesn’t even begin to cover it.
The mask slipped big time at this glitzy event. Let’s be honest—the folks in these tuxedos and evening gowns spend all year promoting narratives that demonize conservatives, including Donald Trump. They toss around wild accusations—calling him everything from a dictator to Hitler—whipping up hysteria for clicks, ratings, and, of course, power. Yet there they were, desperate for a selfie with Trump, as if their hate disappears when the cameras are off and the caviar is served.
It’s clear what this is really about: profit. The mainstream media manufactures fear, then cashes in on the very chaos they help create. While regular Americans worry about violent crime, political violence, and skyrocketing hate, these elites are too busy clinking fancy glasses to care. They never face the consequences of their own reckless language. When real harm happens, they shrug it off—or worse, act like they had nothing to do with it.
This double standard is outrageous. If you or I said half the things these so-called correspondents get away with, we’d be banned from polite society. But if you’re on the right side—or should we say, the left side—of the media narrative, you can gin up mobs all day and still score an invite to Washington’s most exclusive parties. It’s the ultimate insiders’ club, and the only rule is to never let the truth get in the way of a good story.
America sees straight through this act. The elite class pretends to be moral authorities, but their actions expose their real values: fame, money, and power at any price. The question is, how much longer will the American people tolerate smug globalists and media opportunists preaching to us while gorging themselves on the spoils of the outrage they create? If only virtue-signaling paid as well as actual hard work.
