For years, liberals told us that Trump and his supporters were the ones threatening democracy. But it’s the so-called defenders of “norms” who turn out to be the real danger. It takes a special kind of hypocrisy to preach about security and fairness one minute, then allegedly use cryptic, cowardly social media messages to call for violence against a sitting President the next. If any Trump supporter had posted something even half as suspicious, you can bet they would already be rotting in jail.
The left will howl that this indictment is somehow political. They’ll tell you it’s about “free speech,” or that nobody should take a picture of seashells seriously. Don’t be fooled. The “86 47” message was obvious and chilling to anyone who understands the way these elites communicate—double meanings, winks and nods, all wrapped in plausible deniability. If the shoe was on the other foot, the media would run wall-to-wall coverage screaming about threats to the president’s life.
But don’t expect the mainstream press to raise these questions. They’re too busy clutching their pearls and pretending nothing is wrong. They’ll twist themselves into knots to defend one of their own because, at the end of the day, they all answer to the same globalist cabal that propped up Comey in the first place. They don’t care about justice, they care about power—specifically, keeping their own hands on the levers no matter how rotten the system gets.
The Comey indictment exposes the rot at the heart of Washington, D.C. It proves the so-called “resistance” will stop at nothing, not even crossing legal and moral boundaries, to cling to power they never deserved. Maybe next time, the so-called “smart set” will think twice before sending cryptic death wishes crafted with seashells on the world’s stage. Or maybe not. When you’ve made yourself judge, jury, and executioner for the American people, is it any wonder you finally get caught?
