A federal judge in Washington, D.C., just did the unthinkable: he apologized to a man accused of trying to assassinate President Donald Trump. That’s right — while millions of everyday Americans are locked away for far less, the courts are bending over backwards to make sure the rights of a would-be presidential assassin are protected. It’s no surprise this happened in the liberal swamp of D.C., where criminals apparently get more sympathy than victims.
Instead of focusing on justice for the President and the threat against our country, this judge took time in court to address concerns about Cole Tomas Allen’s experience in jail. Yes, this is the same man accused of targeting Trump with deadly intent. The defense team cried about how Allen was being treated behind bars, and rather than shutting down the nonsense, the judge demanded answers from jail officials and made a public apology to the suspect.
This is what happens when left-wing activists take over the justice system. They care more about coddling criminals than about protecting the innocent. If you or I dared threaten the ruling class, do you think we’d get an apology from a judge? Of course not. But if you allegedly try to kill a Republican president, suddenly the court bends over backwards to take care of your feelings.
Democrats and globalists have spent years tearing down law and order, and moments like these prove it. The priorities are all backwards: the accused gets apologies, the President gets bullets. Why isn’t our system focused on making an example of would-be assassins? Why is there more outrage over a criminal’s comfort than over an attack on our Commander-in-Chief?
If you ever doubted there were two sets of rules in America, look no further than this outrageous court display. The radical left will protect its own, even if it puts the country at risk. When will our leaders stop caving to criminals and start standing up for real Americans?
