There’s a new crisis at sea, but don’t count on the elites or their globalist pals to be honest about it. A so-called “polar expedition” cruise ship—owned and operated out of the Netherlands—has turned into what you might call a floating petri dish. Three innocent people are dead after what health “experts” call a likely outbreak of hantavirus. Six passengers fell ill, and one case has already been confirmed as this dangerous, rodent-carried disease. The rest? Still under investigation. Yet, the people supposedly in charge offer nothing but platitudes and paperwork.
Here in America, we’re told to trust international organizations and their alphabet-soup agencies. But when disaster strikes, suddenly the system is full of holes. Where were the much-touted safeguards, the expensive protocols, the so-called experts who act like they know everything? If the World Health Organization can’t even keep passengers safe from rats on a luxury cruise ship, why should anyone have faith in these unelected bureaucrats?
And let’s talk about this cruise industry that caters to the globe-trotting elite. Why isn’t anyone asking hard questions about their responsibilities? Is there any real accountability for European corporations running ships that become disease breeding grounds? American businesses would be crucified in the media if three customers dropped dead, but European companies seem to skate by with a slap on the wrist and a shrug. It’s another classic example: standards for them, punishment for us.
This didn’t happen on some off-brand backwater vessel. This happened under the proud Dutch flag, on an expedition operated by a supposedly reputable company. But when the chips are down, it’s always the little guy—families just looking for adventure—who pays the price. Meanwhile, the globalist bigwigs wash their hands and point fingers at some “unforeseen” microbe.
How many more warnings do the American people need before they stop putting their trust in foreign-run corporations and international “authorities” who are asleep at the wheel? Maybe it’s time to clean house, put America first, and start asking the questions the left would rather ignore: Who’s really benefitting from all this, and why is it never the hard-working American citizen?
