Liberal politicians are back at it, cheering for failure while hardworking Americans pay the price. Over and over, the left claims to stand up for the little guy, but what do they really do when it counts? Take Elizabeth Warren, for example. She’s proudly celebrating the blockage of a merger that could have saved Spirit Airlines, leaving employees out in the cold and travelers with fewer options.
Let’s not kid ourselves. Blocking this merger didn’t protect consumers. It just handed power to the big airlines while crushing a company struggling to survive. Warren and her friends love to brag about fighting “corporate power,” but their reckless policies have now killed off an airline that gave millions of Americans affordable flights. Does she care about the working class? Clearly not—unless you count the out-of-touch DC elite as “working people.”
Spirit Airlines wasn’t perfect, but it gave Americans real choices in a sky ruled by mega-corporations. Now, thanks to the left’s obsession with government control, Spirit is gone. Workers lose jobs, families see prices spike, and air travel just got even worse. The liberal answer? Throw a party and pat themselves on the back for “saving competition.” Meanwhile, their anti-business crusade just made things worse for everyone except their globalist friends at the top.
It’s the same old story. Liberals talk a big game about fairness and opportunity, but their actions always backfire. Blocking mergers, strangling businesses with regulations, and punishing success—these are the real enemies of the American Dream. Instead of letting the free market work, they destroy more jobs and choices every time they meddle. Who’s held accountable? Certainly not the politicians and activists running the show.
People are right to be angry. Real Americans are tired of watching coastal elites make reckless decisions from their marble offices. Only the left could call it a “victory” when families lose affordable travel and countless workers get pink slips. If this is what “helping the people” looks like, no wonder so many Americans are standing up to say enough is enough. When will progressives stop sabotaging their own country in the name of virtue?
