Gas prices are shooting through the roof again. Average Americans are now coughing up nearly $4.50 a gallon. And what are we getting in return? Woke lectures from Washington and hand-wringing about “global stability,” while oil barons and foreign dictators laugh their way to the bank.
The price of oil in the U.S. jumped to over $105 a barrel this week. And that’s after the Biden crew made a big show of sending help to the Strait of Hormuz, where tensions have been boiling. So much for government “solutions.” Our wallets keep getting drained, and politicians keep blaming everyone but themselves.
Here’s the ugly truth: those in power couldn’t care less if Americans struggle at the pump. They’re obsessed with green fantasies, not your family’s budget. While regular folks choose between groceries and gas, liberal bureaucrats cozy up to foreign interests and make deals that don’t help us one bit.
It’s almost comical how out of touch these globalists are. They restrict U.S. energy production, begging OPEC to bail us out, and then act shocked when prices go up. Their failed energy policies put America last and force hard-working people to pay the price—literally. The only thing growing faster than the cost of fuel is the mountain of excuses from the left.
Maybe the elites think $4.50 a gallon is no big deal. Maybe they don’t mind taking another jet to their next climate summit while the rest of us scramble to fill our tanks. If this is what “progress” looks like, real Americans are sick of it. How many more paychecks do we have to burn before these so-called leaders wake up?
