For years, the so-called “pro-life establishment” played right into the hands of the left. They parroted the narrative that killing unborn babies was wrong—but then winked and nodded that “exceptions” are just fine, so long as you add magic words like “rape,” “incest,” or “life of the mother.” Let’s be blunt: that’s not pro-life. That’s choosing political comfort over moral courage. And it’s exactly how the radical abortion lobby keeps slaughter legal, decade after decade.
This lazy compromise infects the conservative movement everywhere. One minute, people preach about the importance of protecting life. The next, they throw it all away the second a CNN camera or liberal activist waves a tragic case in their faces. Leftist manipulation is all about the woman’s feelings—never the basic, undeniable humanity of the child. It’s the oldest trick in the book. The left tells us to forget about the innocent life in the womb, so they can keep cashing in on abortion and pushing their warped view of “health care.” Who cares if it means throwing away thousands of lives every single day, as long as it fits the progressive agenda?
It takes guts to face the truth in those tough edge cases. Is it really justice to punish a baby for the crimes of a rapist? Are we honestly going to pretend that a child conceived in violence has no right to exist? The abortion industry hides behind these rare stories to justify a holocaust. They never mention the mothers who step up, face impossible odds, and still choose life. Their stories aren’t convenient for Planned Parenthood’s bottom line—or the left’s vision of a childless, family-hating society. Funny how “choice” always means one thing: death.
Dig a little deeper, and the mask drops completely. The left doesn’t want to talk about women scarred by abortion, who describe the procedure as trauma layered upon trauma. They never talk about the countless adults alive today who were conceived in “unwanted” circumstances, whose lives have changed the world for the better. The globalist push for easy abortion is all about control, not compassion. It tells people life is disposable. It tells women their only option is violence. It devalues faith, family, and the role God plays in every birth.
True conservatism isn’t about splitting hairs or bowing to liberal tears. It’s about rejecting the ugly lie that some lives are less important than others. If conservatives want to win the battle for America’s soul, they must stand up and say: every single life matters. No more caveats. No more apologies. Isn’t it time for the right to stop pretending, toss out the establishment’s weak excuses, and demand an end to abortion—no exceptions? Because until we do, we’re just doing the left’s dirty work for them.
