What caused this? It wasn’t just “Mother Nature.” No, this was a disgusting cocktail of left-wing mismanagement and—surprise—criminal behavior.
While the liberal powers-that-be in LA pretend to care about safety and the environment, they can’t even keep the absolute basics in order. The so-called “leadership” literally left the key reservoir for the entire area bone dry. Imagine that—an empty water supply as the flames started. This isn’t just stupidity; it feels like sabotage. Add in mismanagement, red tape, and the obsession with virtue-signaling, and you get what looks less like a city and more like a war zone.
Now we’re learning even creepier details about the arson suspect behind this destruction. Turns out, he wasn’t just some random criminal with a box of matches. He was obsessed with a leftist “idol”—hardly surprising in the land of Hollywood make-believe and coastal elite delusions. You won’t see CNN or MSNBC talk about the warped ideas that inspire these types of people, though. Why would they? It might expose the dark, twisted underside of the causes they champion.
None of this should be a shock. For years, liberal politicians in California have put criminals’ feelings ahead of public safety, eco-posturing ahead of common sense, and bureaucratic nonsense ahead of plain old firefighting. Their arrogance costs lives. Their “inclusive” policies make cities less safe, not more. Innocent families pay the price.
Instead of learning from disaster, the left keeps doubling down on failed ideas and blaming everyone but themselves. The truth is that their anti-American bias and globalist priorities leave actual Americans in danger. Californians are rebuilding at a snail’s pace, while their leaders keep shoving equity lectures down our throats. Maybe LA needs less woke nonsense—and more real leadership.
