Iranian-Americans have had enough. They know what real tyranny looks like. That’s why California’s Persian community wants nothing to do with Iran’s brutal regime. Walk down the streets of Los Angeles or talk to families who risked everything to escape — their message is crystal clear: the mullahs have got to go. They see the cruelty, the lies, the terror, and they reject it with their whole hearts.
But of course, the left loves to focus on the outliers. Suddenly, a handful of social media stars who cozy up to the ayatollahs become the “voice” of the Iranian-American community. Never mind that many of these so-called influencers push propaganda, play footsie with gun-running operations, or have shady ties to the regime’s thugs. Liberals would rather follow a blue check mark than listen to actual freedom fighters. Is that protecting democracy—or just another case of looking the other way?
Let’s be honest: globalists and their DC puppets love turning a blind eye to Iran’s crimes. While real Persian-Americans wave American and Lion-and-Sun flags in the streets, Biden officials sit around trying not to offend Tehran. Who suffers? The young women of Iran. The dissidents. The brave souls risking prison or worse to speak out. The left pretends to stand for human rights but won’t call evil by its name if it gets in the way of their deals and “diplomacy.”
Meanwhile, the overwhelming majority of Iranian-Americans remember exactly why they left. They want freedom. They want strong borders and strong values—the things that make America special. They’re tired of being lumped in with a few glitzy, regime-sympathetic Instagrammers who get all the press and none of the scrutiny. When was the last time the mainstream media told the truth about who really represents this proud community?
Liberals claim to care about immigrants. But when it comes to Iranian-Americans fighting for liberty, suddenly it’s too “complicated” to take a side. Maybe woke activists would rather ignore hard truths if it means offending their pals at the UN. But real Americans can see what’s happening. And Iranian-Americans? They’ve already voted with their feet. Remind us—why do the left and their media friends always seem to stand with the oppressors, not the oppressed?
