Spain’s socialist government just proved once again that leftist priorities are completely backwards. In 2025, Spanish leaders handed out a jaw-dropping $2 billion to illegal migrants. Meanwhile, they could only muster a measly $70 million to actually protect their own borders. That’s not just irresponsible. It’s an embarrassment.
This mind-boggling waste of taxpayer money is exactly what you get when liberal elites run the show. They fall all over themselves handing out freebies to people who broke the law to get into the country, while penny-pinching every euro meant to keep citizens safe. It’s almost as if socialists care more about outsiders than their own people—that’s liberal “compassion” for you.
While families in Spain struggle with rising costs, their government opens up the treasury for those who didn’t bother respecting Spain’s rules. The message is clear: break in, and you get a payday. Try to protect your community? You’re left with scraps. Ordinary Spaniards pick up the tab for politicians chasing applause from globalists and open-borders activists.
It’s the same story everywhere socialists are in charge. Whether it’s Europe or America, liberals always seem to find cash for illegal immigration—while schools, police, and health services go begging. But when it comes to doing the one thing government is supposed to do—enforce the law and guard the border—suddenly there’s “no money.” Funny how that works.
