The rot in America’s universities just keeps getting deeper—especially when leftist activists think nobody’s watching. At Texas State University in San Marcos, the faculty is thumbing its nose at a state law meant to shut down the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion racket once and for all. Texas lawmakers worked hard to ban the spread of woke ideology from their public institutions, but apparently the radicals up north didn’t get the memo—or just don’t care.
A prominent professor at Texas State was caught boasting that the university simply tweaks the language of its leftist agenda. Why follow the law when you can just hide your schemes behind academic jargon? Instead of “diversity statements,” now it’s just “teaching philosophy” slipped into students’ course syllabi. It’s nothing but a dishonest game, proving once again that the so-called educated class will do whatever it takes to force-feed their ideology to the next generation.
These activists are even proud of their deceit. With the university president giving his silent blessing—after all, his own resume includes a stint running a left-wing women’s studies program—they feel emboldened to undermine the will of Texans and the authority of elected leaders. They say the law doesn’t “apply” to academics. How convenient. Apparently, accountability is only for everyday people, not for ivory tower elites protecting their political fiefdoms.
All of this is happening because the left can’t win on ideas. They can’t convince Americans to buy into radical identity politics, so they hide DEI doctrine in the shadows of the classroom. Parents, taxpayers, and lawmakers demanded an end to the brainwashing, but the university would rather swap vocabulary and keep peddling the same tired dogma. It’s case study in liberal arrogance—rules for thee, never for me.
Americans deserve real education, not indoctrination dressed up in fake “philosophy.” If public schools and universities are willing to break the law just to keep DEI alive, what else are they willing to do? How many more secrets are they hiding behind closed doors?
