Another horrifying night in middle America, but this time it’s not one of the liberal-run cities where chaos seems to be a fact of life in recent years. This shooting—thirteen people hospitalized—happened in Edmond, Oklahoma, a solid red community where folks are supposed to be safe from the kind of violence that plagues our country thanks to weak Democrat leadership and policies that let criminals roam free. Instead, young people gathering near Arcadia Lake found themselves dodging bullets, all thanks to a culture war fueled by years of anti-family, anti-values messaging blasted out by the left.
Of course, the second these reports come out, the liberal media loves to pounce. Their favorite storyline is to use any tragedy as an opportunity to push their anti-gun agenda, trash red states, and ignore every bit of real context. They’ll rant about gun control—as if new regulations ever stop criminals from breaking the law. Meanwhile, they stay silent when these nightmares erupt in Chicago, New York, or Los Angeles, as if their precious blue cities haven’t become battlegrounds under so-called “progressive” policies.
Let’s not kid ourselves. It’s not guns or the law-abiding citizens who are the problem. It’s the collapse of respect, decency, and accountability across the board. When families disintegrate and communities are told to be ashamed of their values, this is what happens. Our children no longer grow up with a sense of right and wrong. Instead, they’re handed excuses, victimhood, and endless lectures about imaginary privileges while real evil goes ignored. These are the tragic fruits of liberal social engineering, packaged with a bow by globalist elites who want a weak, divided America.
Where is the outrage from President Biden and his friends? They’re always first to blame law-abiding conservatives when something goes wrong in a red state, but never admit that decades of left-wing messaging have wrecked our culture and put us all in danger. All the while, they keep the borders open, welcome criminals with open arms, and tie the hands of police officers trying to actually do their jobs.
Thirteen innocent people paid the price for a culture that refuses to stand up for law, order, and real American values. How many more have to get hurt before our so-called leaders admit the truth? Maybe the next time liberals are busy blaming communities for upholding the Second Amendment, they’ll stop to ask themselves why their own “solutions” have left America weaker than ever.
