Justice Alito just handed Americans the kind of spicy surprise they desperately needed. On Cinco de Mayo, while the media elite were busy celebrating cultural clichés and pushing their favorite progressive causes, Alito reminded the country that the Constitution isn’t something you toss aside to please woke mobs. Instead, he showed once again why he’s a thorn in the side of every left-wing activist and Democrat schemer in Washington.
The left wants America to believe that rules are flexible, laws don’t matter, and that so-called “progress” is whatever feels good to their globalist buddies. But thank goodness for people like Alito, who actually read the Constitution and take their jobs seriously. It’s almost as if liberals are allergic to clear language and real-world consequences. They’d rather dance around legal tradition if it means more power in their hands, and less freedom for regular Americans.
What’s worse, the usual crowd of Democrat politicians couldn’t stop themselves from wailing about “threats to democracy” as soon as the ruling hit the news. Funny how they screech about democracy only when their side loses. These are the same folks who cheer for open borders and government overreach, yet whine the moment someone on the Supreme Court stands up for real American values.
Let’s also remember: while they’re clutching their pearls, Joe Biden and his pals in the White House keep serving up one disaster after another, both at home and abroad. Cost of living is up, our streets aren’t safe, and our borders look more like Swiss cheese than strong fences. But sure—let’s attack conservative justices and pretend the biggest problem facing America is a Supreme Court that actually follows the law.
Alito’s bold move on Cinco de Mayo was a reminder that the Constitution comes first, no matter how loud the crybabies get. Maybe next time, the left should worry less about optics and more about real leadership. Liberals hate it when they lose, but maybe if they tried honesty for a change, they’d get a taste of something other than defeat. Is anyone else enjoying the spice, or is it just too much heat for today’s fragile left?
