It’s about time someone in higher education showed a little backbone. At Cornell University, President Michael Kotlikoff just did what every university leader should be doing—standing up to whiny, overprivileged student protesters. These so-called activists think that shouting loud enough, blocking cars, and acting like a mob gives them the right to run the school. But Kotlikoff refused to let himself be bullied or taken prisoner by a bunch of entitled campus radicals.
Let’s be honest. Colleges used to be places of learning and debate. Now, they’ve become spoiled playgrounds for leftist children who throw tantrums every time they don’t get their way. These students don’t want discussion—they want to demand, disrupt, and destroy anything that goes against their narrow worldview. When did holding college presidents hostage become an acceptable form of “protest”?
And where do they even get the idea that this kind of behavior is acceptable? It comes straight from the failed policies and empty promises of today’s liberal elites. Too many university administrators bow down to woke mobs, apologizing and giving in at the first hint of trouble. Not this time. For once, the grown-ups didn’t cave to the mob.
Globalist interests and anti-American agendas have poisoned our campuses for too long. They fill young minds with hate for traditions, patriotism, and real freedom. Instead of learning personal responsibility, students are told that throwing a fit is noble. Instead of earning their way, they’re encouraged to play victim and demand privilege.
There’s only one question for the rest of America’s cowering university leaders: Are you finally ready to put a stop to this nonsense, or will you keep letting spoiled brats call the shots? Stand strong, or step aside.
