America’s airports are supposed to be our front lines against global chaos. So when a shipment sneaks in from Hong Kong loaded with illegal weapons and ammunition, alarm bells should go off. Thankfully, Customs and Border Protection officers at JFK Airport had their eyes wide open. They spotted the threat and acted fast, proving once again that when Americans do their jobs right, we all win.
But let’s not kid ourselves. Where are the Democrats when it’s time to take borders seriously? They love to chatter on TV about gun control and public safety, but their weak leadership invites criminals to try their luck. Whether it’s smuggling weapons or fentanyl, their open-borders agenda puts regular Americans at risk. Liberals prefer to tie the hands of law enforcement with red tape while crooks get bolder every year.
Let’s talk about globalist interests for a minute. Why was this shipment coming in from Hong Kong? Too often, America is left suffering from dangerous goods sent overseas because politicians in D.C. are more worried about pleasing international “partners” than protecting our own communities. If we had real leadership, enemies of America wouldn’t dare try these dirty tricks.
It’s obvious what’s really at stake. With our borders wide open and our ports playing catch-up, every illegal shipment is another blow to national security. Yet we keep hearing how conservatives are the “problem” when all we want is law and order. These officers at JFK did what the left refuses to do—they put American safety first and stopped deadly weapons before they got into the wrong hands.
Maybe it’s time the left started listening for once. If we want to keep America safe, we need stronger borders and leaders who actually care about security. Or will liberals wait until something even worse slips through before they wake up? The American people are watching—and we notice who’s actually fighting for us.
