Karen Bass attacks fire victim while Los Angeles burns under her failed leadership

When tragedy strikes, you’d expect a little decency from our leaders. But here in Los Angeles, Mayor Karen Bass just hit a new low. It takes a special kind of liberal arrogance to call someone “reprehensible” for daring to speak out—especially when that person lost everything in the Palisades fire.

Let’s be real. Spencer Pratt is not some outsider trying to cash in on disaster. He’s a homeowner whose life was scorched by the flames, just like dozens of his neighbors. Yet somehow, Karen Bass thinks he’s “exploiting grief” simply for stepping up and shining a light on the horror that her own failed leadership allowed to happen. That’s rich, coming from the same progressive politicians who always blame climate change and then do nothing while California literally burns.

Democrats like Bass love throwing stones, but they never look in the mirror. Under her watch, city services are weak, forest management is a joke, and the only thing they’re quick about is covering up their own mistakes with cheap shots at political opponents. You want real hypocrisy? Try attacking a fire victim instead of answering for the mess at City Hall.

The truth is, conservative voices are the only ones brave enough to hold these leaders accountable. They want to silence anyone who exposes the truth, even if that means trashing folks who’ve lost their homes. Doesn’t it tell you everything you need to know that Bass is more upset with being called out than with the actual suffering around her?

Liberal incompetence has a cost, and real people pay the price when politicians like Karen Bass dodge responsibility. Maybe next time, she should focus less on name-calling and more on fixing her broken city. Is expecting leadership from the mayor of Los Angeles just too much to ask?
