Liberals cave to China as Trump demands tougher tariffs to save American jobs and small businesses

Donald Trump isn’t backing down from fighting for American small businesses. At the White House, he stared straight at the problem: tariffs simply aren’t tough enough yet. And he’s absolutely right. For far too long, globalist policies and weak-willed politicians have allowed China and other countries to take advantage of hardworking Americans. Trump knows that if this country wants to win, it has to play hardball.

While the Biden administration bends over backward to satisfy foreign interests and liberal elites, Trump wants America to stand tall and proud. Yet, instead of getting stronger, they’re processing billions in court-ordered tariff refunds. That means money that should be protecting US jobs and industries is being handed right back to foreign companies. It’s as if the left cares more about what Beijing thinks than about Main Street America.

Liberal bureaucrats and anti-American judges love to throw up roadblocks every time real leadership tries to Make America Great Again. The fact that the administration is preparing for a fresh round of tariffs—maybe as soon as July—is a step in the right direction. But why did it take them so long? The answer is simple: they’re scared of upsetting their globalist friends and the big donors who profit from cheap imports.

American workers and small business owners deserve leaders who won’t bow down to foreign pressure. They deserve someone willing to put America first—over and over again. Liberals preach equality and fairness but won’t lift a finger when American factories close, jobs disappear, and families are left behind. All while cheering for open borders and cheap Chinese junk flooding our stores.

Trump gets it. Tariffs should be higher. Why should American workers have their paychecks slashed, their jobs sent overseas, and their communities hollowed out, just to make global corporations richer? Maybe it’s time the left answered that. But we won’t hold our breath for a straight answer. When will liberals finally admit that America deserves to win?
