Democrats can’t seem to finish bragging about how their fearless leader “tamed” Iran — but anyone outside Obama’s echo chamber knows it’s nothing but smoke and mirrors. While liberals pat themselves on the back, Iran keeps laughing all the way to the bank…and the centrifuge.
Under Obama, America handed Iran pallets of cash and a sweetheart nuclear deal, pretending it was some masterstroke of diplomatic genius. All he accomplished was helping a regime that chants “death to America” get richer and stronger. Liberals drool over the fantasy that dialogue stops tyrants, when, in reality, it just emboldens them. Obama’s deal was a win only for the mullahs—everywhere else, it was a full-blown disaster.
The left’s hypocrisy is on full display. They claim they’re defenders of peace and stability but act like Iran’s apologists. Why give the world’s biggest terror sponsor a free pass just because it makes them feel enlightened? The same liberals who say they fight for “justice” have zero problem with Iran’s thugs bullying their own people and threatening entire regions. It’s as if Obama’s glowing press releases make up for all the damage.
Let’s not pretend Obama’s Iran policy was some kind of diplomatic miracle. It delayed the problem, made it worse, and put America’s allies on the chopping block. Iran got away with everything—funded by cash that should’ve never left the US treasury. If this is what globalists call “smart power,” Americans ought to run for the hills whenever they hear it again.
Maybe the left just misses the thrill of feeling superior. But nobody’s buying it anymore. The only thing Obama’s Iran tale proves is that liberal arrogance and naïve foreign policy endanger us all. Who’s going to hold them accountable the next time their fairy tales blow up in our faces?
