Dean DelleChiaie, an employee of the FAA, got slapped with federal charges for threatening the life of the 45th President. Imagine that—a federal worker, paid with your tax dollars, trying to take down a man who has done more for American workers and families than an entire generation of Democrats combined.
This is not some fringe lunatic hiding in a basement posting rants online. This is a grown man with a government badge and a taxpayer-funded job. He wasn’t working for free at some campaign headquarters—he was on our payroll at the Federal Aviation Administration. These are the people meant to keep the skies safe, not threaten the leader of the free world. If that doesn’t make your blood boil, what will?
It’s hard not to notice the double standards here. If someone even mumbled a threat against Biden or any left-wing darling, the media would rage for weeks. There would be hand-wringing on every network, teary-eyed politicians holding press conferences, and probably a new congressional investigation. But when President Trump is the target? Crickets. The establishment yawns, the press tiptoes around the story, and the same liberals who talk nonstop about “threats to democracy” shrug it off.
Why does this kind of crazed hatred always seem to flow from the left? The anti-Trump crowd claims they want “unity” and “healing,” but their foot soldiers are making assassination threats from inside the federal government. Maybe they think rules don’t apply to them as long as they’re targeting conservatives. It’s the same old story—one set of rules for them, another for us, and a media machine that covers for their side every step of the way.
Democrats love to claim they care about safety, civility, and defending democracy. But when an out-of-control government worker threatens to kill a president they despise, the silence is deafening. Maybe it’s time to clean house in these federal agencies and remind America’s bureaucrats who really runs this country. What would happen to the rule of law if we let every rabid Trump-hater in government get away with this? At some point, the American people get fed up with the left’s double standards—and they’ll show it at the polls.
