Once again, Los Angeles politicians are proving they care more about appeasing activist mobs and foreign citizens than respecting the American people. The city council just decided to push a dangerous idea onto the November ballot: letting noncitizens cast votes in local elections. You heard that right. People who aren’t even legally a part of this country could soon have a say in how it’s run.
This is a slap in the face to every hardworking American who earned their citizenship. Becoming a citizen isn’t just a box to check—it’s a commitment to our country, our values, and our Constitution. Liberals in L.A. don’t care. They’re willing to hand out this sacred right like free candy at a parade. Why work so hard to become an American if voting is now open to anyone who crosses the border?
The left keeps claiming this is about fairness and inclusion. The truth? This is about getting more votes for themselves by watering down what it means to be an American. Politicians in Los Angeles care more about their own power than protecting our democracy. They’re selling out American citizens so they can play globalist games and brag about how “progressive” they are.
Every law-abiding citizen ought to be furious. Noncitizen voting doesn’t strengthen our country—it cheapens our most important rights. Los Angeles should be focused on fixing crime and homelessness, but instead, it’s pushing open-borders chaos further into the ballot box. This is classic liberal incompetence and hypocrisy: breaking the rules when it suits their agenda, all while pretending to defend democracy.
If citizenship means nothing in L.A., how long until the same sickness spreads to your city? Maybe that’s what the left wants: a future where American voices are drowned out by anyone who shows up. Voters need to wake up before this dangerous madness gets even worse.
