Six Americans Rot in Iranian Prisons While Politicians Betray Them for a Phony Peace Deal

Six Americans are sitting in Iranian prisons right now, hoping that someone in Washington actually cares about them. Meanwhile, the political elites and so-called diplomats are busy patting themselves on the back as they chase a “historic” peace deal with the very regime holding our people hostage. Only in today’s upside-down world can American lives become bargaining chips while politicians trade away our values in a desperate attempt to look “presidential” on the world stage.

Does anyone in Washington remember what it means to actually put America first? While the administration rushes to promote its diplomatic “progress,” Iran is laughing all the way to the negotiating table. Instead of showing strength, leaders are handing out olive branches to a government that spits in our face. The only message this sends to tyrants like those in Tehran is that they can push the United States around and get away with it.

This is exactly what happens when the left’s soft-on-tyrants agenda seeps into foreign policy. The obsession with global peace deals and “diplomatic breakthroughs” always seems to come at the expense of American citizens. The same talking heads whining about “mean tweets” are still silent as actual Americans are rotting in enemy cells. Not a single apology from the globalists who swore their gentle touch would make us safer.

What ever happened to demanding consequences for dictators who cross the line? When Tehran knows that their hostages mean nothing but leverage in some peace-talk photo op, the world gets more dangerous—especially for Americans abroad. The weakness radiating out of Washington is the best campaign ad for thugs everywhere. Enemies have learned there’s no price to pay for kidnapping Americans.

Let’s stop fooling ourselves: these so-called “peace talks” only work out for our adversaries. The American hostages are left behind, families are left devastated, but politicians still send out press releases about their “progress.” When will someone demand action—not more empty words—on behalf of citizens held captive? Did the people elect Washington to protect our flag, or just to save face on CNN? The world is watching, and so are those six forgotten Americans.
