There’s something seriously wrong when people can’t leave even America’s monuments alone. It’s almost like the left has an obsession with destroying symbols of our nation’s pride. Just look at the mess happening at the D.C. Reflecting Pool. Instead of celebrating these sites, some have gone out of their way to mess them up—just for a headline, just to feel edgy, or maybe just because they secretly hate America.
President Trump understands what these places mean to people. He made it a point during his presidency to make our capital city beautiful, to clean up our monuments, and remind folks what patriotism really looks like. Compare those efforts to what’s going on today. What do we get from the left? An endless stream of vandalism, finger-pointing, and not much else. It’s like their plan is to let these precious American sites turn into graffiti-covered playgrounds for anarchists.
The latest attack at the Reflecting Pool says it all. Another so-called “protester” thought it’d be cute to sabotage public property, and of course, it ended with an arrest. What makes people think they can trash national landmarks and get away with it? That’s what happens when liberals run the show: zero respect for law, history, or the taxpayers who foot the bill for these spaces in the first place.
Liberals love to talk about “progress,” but all we see is chaos and destruction. While the Biden crowd can barely keep a lid on rising crime, folks who want to honor tradition and respect our heritage are called every name in the book. This is what America gets when globalists and anti-American elites are calling the shots.
Enough is enough. If Democrats can’t protect our monuments, maybe they should take a step back and let grown-ups run things for a while. The Reflecting Pool isn’t just a pretty place—it’s a symbol of America itself. Why do liberals have such a hard time understanding that?
