Adam Schiff’s Sneak Attack on Elon Musk Exposes the Left’s Outrageous Double Standard

Democrats never miss a chance to stick their fingers into someone else’s wallet, and Adam Schiff’s latest scheme targeting Elon Musk takes it to a new low. The left has been foaming at the mouth ever since Musk rocketed into the economic stratosphere with SpaceX’s public offering. Now, suddenly, Schiff and his big-government buddies think they know better than the marketplace that rewarded Musk’s hard work and risk-taking. They’re drooling at the prospect of yanking billions from Musk, as if he somehow owes them a cut for his success.

This is peak left-wing hypocrisy. While progressives claim to champion innovation and “the little guy,” they’re quick to call for outright confiscation whenever someone actually achieves the American Dream. Musk took wild financial risks and created thousands of jobs, but liberals see only dollar signs. Instead of celebrating American ingenuity, Schiff seems hellbent on punishing it. Why? Because success under capitalism threatens their sad, power-hungry narrative that government is the answer to all problems.

Let’s not forget, these are the same people who cozy up to globalist interests and sit comfortably in Silicon Valley boardrooms. But when an independent thinker like Elon Musk comes along—someone who refuses to play their political games—they suddenly want to bring out the pitchforks. The double standard is sickening. They cheer when the world’s richest left-leaning executives skirt taxes through loopholes they created, but if the billionaire in question dares to value free speech or America-first values, it’s open season.

It’s not just about the money. Schiff’s crowd hates what Musk represents—a free, bold, unapologetic entrepreneur who refuses to bow to their speech codes and woke demands. SpaceX put American rockets back into space, and liberals can’t stand that it wasn’t one of their own cronies who did it. Their so-called “fairness” isn’t about justice. It’s about crushing those who don’t toe the Democrat line.

Musk isn’t perfect. But we need more leaders willing to stand up to government overreach, not punish them for their ambition. If the left gets their way, don’t be surprised when the next big innovator decides it’s just not worth it. Is that really the America we want—one where success is a crime unless you serve the liberal agenda?
