Apparently, if you don’t shout your politics every time you pick up a guitar, you deserve eternal damnation—literally, a “hotter” hell. Let’s stop pretending that every artist needs to be a mouthpiece for the left’s latest cause. Is it so terrible to create music for music’s sake, or to give people a break from the constant barrage of propaganda? What’s so scary to these globalist types about someone just minding their own business? Maybe they’re afraid that if people stop talking politics for five minutes, they’ll start thinking for themselves. Maybe the left can’t risk losing control over what the public is allowed to hear, see, and think. Tom Morello proves it’s not art they value; it’s obedience.
The real extra hot layer of hell? That’s reserved for the groupthink enforcers who demand mindless loyalty and punish anyone who steps out of line. When did being an American mean you had to parrot the narrative just to have a career?
