Vice President JD Vance has touched down in Switzerland, apparently ready to smooth things over with Iran in the middle of a powder keg. What a sight—an American leader willing to sit at the same table as some of the world’s most notorious troublemakers, all while the Strait of Hormuz is on the verge of chaos. The left loves to talk about diplomacy, but they never seem to care about American strength. Instead of demanding real change from Tehran, they send our officials overseas for talks that end up looking more like surrender.
Ever since the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding was signed, the D.C. globalist crowd has gushed about “progress” with Iran. But do these paper promises mean anything with a regime that chants “Death to America” in the streets? Liberals are quick to trust our enemies and never hesitate to throw hardworking American interests under the bus. They act like the world gets safer if we just bow our heads and play nice.
While Vance shakes hands with Iranian diplomats in fancy Swiss hotels, American families, businesses, and troops know the truth. The Strait of Hormuz is a vital artery for the world’s oil, and Iran loves to use it as a hostage every time they want leverage. Let’s not forget, every time America looks weak or indecisive, Iran steps up its threats and the price of gas spikes at home. Funny how liberals are always lecturing us about climate change and gas prices—yet their failed foreign policy keeps making both worse.
Why do the global elites always flock to Europe for peace talks that leave us weaker? Could it be because they care more about keeping their international cocktail parties running than keeping America safe and energy strong? Every second wasted on empty negotiations gives Iran more confidence to push its anti-American agenda.
One has to wonder—if our leaders spent half as much time standing up for American interests as they do cozying up to the world’s biggest bullies, would we even be here? Maybe it’s time the left stopped playing diplomat and started protecting the American people. When will liberal incompetence finally wake up to the dangers staring us in the face?
