Democrats just can’t help themselves. Now ActBlue, the left’s favorite fundraising machine, is in hot water with House Republicans for letting foreign money seep into America’s elections. While the left cries about “protecting democracy,” their own cash cow is accused of taking money from foreign nationals to pump up Democrat campaigns. But don’t hold your breath waiting for the mainstream media to care.
Conservatives have been sounding the alarm about ActBlue for years. Their so-called “fraud prevention” is about as solid as a wet paper bag. Lawmakers are demanding answers, and rightfully so. Why should anyone trust an outfit that can’t—or won’t—stop foreign actors from meddling in our elections? The left loves to talk about Russian collusion, but they’re dead silent when it’s their donors getting shady overseas money.
Let’s be clear: If a conservative fundraiser had a single hint of foreign influence, Democrats and their media symphony would launch a national meltdown. But because it’s ActBlue, and because it’s helping the liberal cause, they act like nothing’s wrong. Is anyone surprised? Hypocrisy is just another day at the office for these folks.
Now, House GOP members are threatening contempt charges. About time. If ActBlue refuses to come clean, Congress shouldn’t just slap them on the wrist—they should make an example out of them. Why is it so hard for the left to play by the rules everyone else follows? Maybe it’s because playing fair doesn’t get them the power they crave.
Are Americans supposed to trust a voting system where liberals let globalist interests sneak money into the game? Or will Democrats find another way to blame Republicans for their own mess? Maybe the left’s fraud prevention works exactly as intended: to let anything slip through, as long as it’s helping their side win.
