Adam Schiff just blinked. For years, Democrats shoved their heads in the sand, pretending their golden boy Gavin Newsom could do no wrong. But now Schiff himself is dropping hints that maybe, just maybe, the Trump-led DOJ has something real on Newsom. This is the same Schiff who claimed he had “evidence” against Trump for years. Suddenly he thinks federal prosecutors might actually have a case against one of his own? Amazing what happens when the heat gets turned up.
California has been a disaster under Newsom. From sky-high taxes to crime on every corner, the state has turned into a playground for criminals and a graveyard for American dreams. It’s no wonder the feds are sniffing around. When a governor ignores the law to score points with his radical base, the real question isn’t “if” he’ll get caught, but “when.” Schiff is the first rat to smell smoke on the leftist ship—and he’s making his escape route known.
Liberals always brag about transparency and good government, but the reality is, they love to cover for each other—until it gets a little too risky. Now that Newsom’s name is being tossed around in DOJ investigations, suddenly the shields go up. Schiff used to say Republicans were chasing phantoms with their corruption claims. Now he’s admitting the DOJ might actually have the goods. Typical double-standard. When it’s Trump, they say “lock him up.” When it’s Newsom, they say “let’s wait and see.”
Americans are tired of being treated like fools. The ruling class in California wants you to believe they’re smarter and more moral than everyone else. But when even Adam Schiff starts distancing himself, you know the wheels are coming off. Is the left worried that their house of cards is finally collapsing?
Maybe it’s time for California’s failed leaders to face the music—just like everyday Americans do when they’re caught breaking the law. The Democrats always said no one is above the law. Let’s see them prove it for once. Or will they just drag their feet, hoping people stop paying attention?
