Alan Greenspan is dead but did he wreck America to save Wall Street

The news is in—Alan Greenspan, the so-called “maestro” of the Federal Reserve, has passed away at the age of 100. For decades, politicians and media elites treated this man like a wizard, pushing his decisions as law while working Americans paid the price. Now, as the nation remembers his legacy, it’s time to rip off the mask and ask: Did Greenspan’s reign really serve the American people—or just the globalist class and Wall Street fat cats?

Under Greenspan’s rule, the Fed became a playground for big banks and corporate cronies. He bent over backwards for global markets, launching policies that sent U.S. jobs overseas and rewarded reckless speculation. While Main Street suffered and families faced shrinking paychecks, Wall Street cheered. Liberals loved to gush over his “steady hand,” but it’s hard to steady a ship you’re actively drilling holes in.

Let’s not forget the disaster that followed. Greenspan’s loose-money policies and endless bailouts set us up for the financial meltdown that wrecked millions of lives in 2008. Liberals like to blame everything on “free markets,” but what Greenspan really built was a rigged system—protected by government insiders and immune to consequences. The average American got left behind while politicians and their Wall Street friends cashed in.

Even after he left office, the same failed ideas lingered on: open borders for capital, cheap money for big business, inflation for the rest of us. No matter how much misery these policies created, the liberal media crowned Greenspan as a genius. Why? Because he pushed their globalist agenda, plain and simple.

As Americans look back at Greenspan’s century-long life, the real lesson isn’t about celebrating some financial “mastermind.” It’s about never trusting powerful elites to have our best interests at heart. If Greenspan’s legacy proves anything, it’s that the “experts” almost always look out for each other, not for us. When will the American people finally get the leadership we deserve?
