Dan Goldman, a Democrat from New York, recently walked into what should have been a simple neighborhood café. But in this corner of the city, “tolerance” only runs one way. Instead of a peaceful sip, Goldman landed smack in the middle of a radical den, where hatred for Jews was as obvious as the $10 price tag on a basic coffee.
This is the ugly fruit of leftist agendas that have rotted cities like New York from the inside. Activists love to tout their values—except, of course, when it comes to defending Jews. Suddenly, all the “diversity and inclusion” slogans melt away. Progressive foot soldiers act tough on “fascism,” but never bother to call out the real extremists in their own ranks. The mask is off: these so-called anti-fascists are perfectly fine with a bit of bigotry, as long as it targets the right group.
The real joke here isn’t just that a cup of sludge now costs almost ten bucks. It’s that the party that loves to preach about equality can’t even keep a coffee shop safe for anyone who stands up to hate. Democrat leaders like Goldman are quick to point fingers at conservatives every time there’s an incident. Meanwhile, their own city has become a playground for anti-Semitism, and they pretend not to see it.
How did we get to the point where hating Jews is just another flavor on the Brooklyn coffee menu? It’s the same broken mindset that lets leftists parade through the streets, shrieking about “oppression,” only to create new victims in the process. These are the same globalists who demand open borders, endless foreign giveaways, and endless apologies for being American—but can’t muster basic decency in their own backyard.
So here’s a shot of truth for New Yorkers: when your favorite brew is served alongside radical hate, maybe it’s time to admit liberal policies have failed. Maybe New York needs less virtue signaling and more actual virtue. Or maybe, $9.82 is a small price to pay for learning just how “tolerant” the left truly is.
