Federal judge sides with open borders politicians and blocks investigation into sanctuary secrets

Federal Judge Sides With Open Borders Politicians Over Law And Order

Once again, the left’s war against law enforcement gets a big boost from the bench. A federal judge just tossed out subpoenas against Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, and other blue-state bureaucrats who refused to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement. That’s right—Washington tried to get records on just how badly these officials are undermining immigration laws, but a judge told the DOJ to buzz off.

This all started when the Trump administration launched Operation Metro Surge—a massive operation in Minnesota aimed at cleaning up illegal immigration. Agents from ice and Border Patrol got to work doing what they’re supposed to: arresting and deporting criminals who don’t belong in this country. The operation should have been celebrated. Instead, the left melted down. Riots broke out. Protesters turned violent and—tragically—lives were lost during confrontations with law enforcement. Of course, instead of supporting the brave men and women risking their lives, politicians like Walz and Frey ran straight to the cameras to badmouth ICE and cheer on the chaos.

The Biden White House and its allies? They didn’t just look the other way—they encouraged attacks on officers risking their lives. Their solution, as always: protect illegals and punish anyone demanding accountability. Federal prosecutors demanded a sweeping trove of documents from Minnesota state and city leaders—emails, texts, memos—hoping to uncover just how far local officials went to help shield illegal immigrants from the law.

But the judge, a Bush appointee no less, stepped in and claimed the subpoenas were unconstitutional. Apparently, it’s now a violation of states’ rights for the federal government to ask politicians for records about their own interference with federal law enforcement. The ruling reads like a love letter to sanctuary city mayors and open borders fanatics. The message is clear: blue-state politicians can snub federal immigration law, and Washington won’t get a peek behind the curtain.

The Tenth Amendment was used as a shield for politicians refusing to do their jobs. No matter how you spin it, this sets a dangerous precedent. State and local officials can ignore, obstruct, and even sabotage law enforcement, all while hiding behind “states’ rights.” This isn’t federalism—it’s an assault on the rule of law by leftists who care more about globalist interests and illegal votes than the safety of American citizens.

Ask yourself—how many more innocent lives must be lost before liberals admit their sanctuary policies only help criminals? The Biden administration, Governor Walz, and their buddies would rather wage war on ICE than protect American streets. Maybe next time you wonder why our cities are overrun with chaos, you can thank a judge—and the radical leftists cheering him on.
